Bonjour! My name is Chafika. I was born in Oran, Algeria in 1978. My family is extremely francophone and my first language spoken was French rather than Arabic. In high school, I studied French, English and Spanish plus Arabic language and literature. After graduating from high school in 1996, I studied French for four years at Oran University Foreign Language Institute and received in 2000 a Bachelor degree in teaching French. Consequently, I worked for 7 years at the Sibawaith School, an institution recognized by the USA, the Goethe Institute, the French Cultural Center as well as the Algerian government. Chosen in the Green Card lottery program, I came to the US in April of 2008, and joined The French Library Alliance Française of Boston in September of 2008.
Bonjour, my name is Lucile. I was born and raised in France, in the beautiful Loire Valley. I am an artist with an MFA in painting from the ENSBA (Paris National School of Fine Arts). While living in Paris, I was an art teacher and ran workshops for children. When I married my husband, who is an Argentinean-American jazz musician based in Boston, I became a US resident. In addition to my dedication to painting and teaching, I enjoy reading world literature, watching movies and listening to different kinds of music. I look forward to sharing with you and your children my love for the French language and culture.
Recipient of the State Diploma of Performing Arts among other acting awards, Guila Clara Kessous has acted, directed and produced performances in Paris, Avignon, New York and Boston. After completing an MBA in cultural business and a Master's degree in comparative dramatic literature, she focused her study on contemporary French literature, drama, and sacred texts under Professor T.J. Kline's mentorship at Boston University. She has taught at Boston University, Harvard University and at the French Library Alliance Française of Boston. Combining drama theory and practice, she has explored topics such as modern slavery (Director, "Hilda" by M. Ndiaye, sponsored by UNESCO); the meaning of "intellect" (Director, "Culture.com," a tribute to J. Malkovich); and God's culpability (Director, "The Trial of God," and "Once upon a time" by E. Wiesel).
Bonjour, My name is Laurence Korideck. I was born in Angers and I grew up in Paris. Where I graduated as a Pediatric Nurse. Then I completed a Master's degree in Health Sciences (Maitrise sur la Pratique infirmiere en Sante Publique). I arrived in Boston on September 2001 with my husband who works in Harvard Medical School. Now, I have three young children, so I am a "busy Mom" but during my free time... Only few hours a week!!!! I enjoy teaching classes at the French Library.

Bonjour! I moved to Boston in 2004. Born in Paris, I was raised in the south of France, then moved back to Paris after high school. I graduated from the Sorbonne with a License es lettres. In the United States, I did graduate work in French Literature at Columbia University in New York City, taught for a few years at SUNY Stony Brook, and as an interpretor for the U.S. State Department. I also taught for many years at the Alliance Française in New York.
Bonjour tout le monde! My name is Cédric Morlot. I was born in the beautiful region of Lorraine where I graduated from the University of Nancy II in 2005 as a teacher of French for foreigners. In 2004, I did my internship for a year in a Lithuanian college, then I taught French for two years in the high school of Commercy, my hometown. I arrived in Boston in July 2007, and I've worked at the French Library since October 2008. I like folk and rock music, political life, football (the one you play with your feet!) and good music! I teach both adults and children, and I’ll be happy to share with you my enthusiasm for French language in a fun and enriching environment. À bientôt!
Bonjour. My name is Christophe Mouraux. I come from Liège, Belgium, where I was born (December 23rd, 1973) and grew up, and where I graduated with an elementary school teacher degree. I arrived in Boston on August 6, 2006. Before I came in the USA, I have taught for the French Community of Belgium in elementary schools since 2000 and in the 4th grade for 3 years. I have been teaching children and adult classes at The French Library Alliance Française of Boston since September 2006, and working as Children’s Program Coordinator since June 2007. I like music, concerts, cinema, comic strips, sports and meeting people. Whether you are an adult or a child, I would enjoy meeting you and sharing my enthusiasm and my knowledge of the French language.

Bonjour! My name is Chantal. I was born and raised in Paris where I completed a baccalaureate in Economics and Philosophy, as well as an MA in Law. From the age of sixteen, I have always been a private tutor. I worked at an international law firm in Paris, after which I moved to NYC. Married to an American in 1972, mother of five, I have always been teaching group and private classes for children, adolescents and adults, on and off, for in the 80's I moved to Strasbourg with my family where we founded and managed a desktop publishing company. I came back to Boston in 1998 and began teaching at the French Library a variety of French language courses as well as theme classes such as advanced grammar. I enjoy sharing my love and enthusiasm for the French language and culture with all the Francophiles in the USA.
Bonjour! My name is Rafik. I have a wife & 3 daughters and have lived in Boston for 5 years. I am originally from Algeria, where I taught French for 20 years. I graduated from the Algerian Institute of Education in French language. I’ve also worked as the assistant director and director of Summer Camps for many years. I teach both private and group lessons at the French Library in the evenings. I enjoy music, sports, reading, travel and more.

Bonjour! My name is Farida. I am originally from Algeria; I come from Salon de Provence (France), where I taught Biology for 5 years and I worked for 16 years as an Occupational Health Doctor. I arrived in Boston in August 2004 with my family (my husband and my daughter) and I've worked at the French Library since March 2006 where I teach adult classes. I look forward to meeting you and to sharing my enthusiasm for the French Language and Culture.
Bonjour! My name is Caroline. I grew up in the French countryside close to the Alps. I studied in Grenoble and Lyon and have a Master’s in English and Foreign Language Education. I have family in the Northeast, and after having spent many summers in the States, I decided to move to Boston in September 2008. Back in France, I was a teaching assistant in legal English at the University of Lyon. I hope to meet you at a French Library event, or in class.
